These guidelines will keep your pages looking clean and provide a nice look to your page

1. Conserve bandwidth wherever possible and begin with your photographs and images. Use an image editor to minimize the size of images to the required size you want them. Avoid using HTML coding to squeeze make a large image to a small one.

2. Align text and images on each page as per its requirement. Centered alignments are tough to read, and don’t use the space well. Left justified or right justified texts create easy, clean lines that give the viewers something to lock on to and focus their attention.

3. Choose a graphic or logo and customize your web page’s color scheme based on that graphic. At the same time don’t be afraid to break with the color scheme of your company, school, or organization as some colors look good on paper but less attractive on a computer screen.

4. Keep updating your web page regularly. If you do not have the time to update regularly then create a web page that will not go stale after a certain date. Give your information in present tense without any reference to dates or times.
